WIP Wednesday - Unnamed as yet

This one is so much in the WIP process, that even the design is going to change a bit.  And though I have a couple of ideas for the quilting, I haven't made up my mind yet - who knows what may occur to me.

Sadly, I think I've settled on a really labour intensive method of quilting.  Dang! Any fun ideas for quiting out there in blog land?

See you Friday!

  1. No concrete ideas-but something geometric? Maybe ghost quilting of the circles?

  2. I'd echo the circles from the left hand side in the plain section on the right, at about the same size, but not too many of them. Around the circles (on both sides) i'd do relatively widely spaced straight vertical lines.
ie. I'd mirror the (beautiful and) simple piecing with simple quilting.

  3. Hey Kit, Good luck with quilting this top. I'm sure you will come up with something fabulous. I too, like the "labor intensive" quilting look (also known as the "quilting the dog" out of it method.) Have a great day!

  4. Hey, All I can say is you've got your work cut out for you. Lots of space that needs intense quilting. I do not envy you in the decision making process, but anxiously await the outcome.
    Happy Quilting
