So, when I last left you, I showed you the threads I was going to quilt this piece with; and quilt it, I did.  Here's a little piece of the background.

But I knew that was going to be only the background; and after thinking about it for a couple of days, I was eating my lunch at work one day and knew what it was this piece needed.

And so I did some outlines for little bush-type things; and filled in some sand and put some pebbles and rocks in...

and then I did the same on the other side.  

and then I started to fill in the leaves.
