So, first things first: - here's my finished bird - a golden headed blackbird - and check out that foliage!  Five layers of stitching - but well worth it. :)

As for what I'm giving away - check it out:  a copy of Quilted Bags and Purses by Mary Jo Hiney, four fat quarters of Kona solids in purple, mauve and two shades of grey; and a  sampler pack of Aurifil thread!
