"America Now: Written On The Body" (c) 2012 Kit Lang
And improving this one:
"Incendiary: Marie-Joseph Angelique" (c) 2012 Kit Lang
(I think she needs more fire, don't you?)
In addition, I just found out tonight that this piece on Trayvon Martin:
"America Now - Walking While Black " (c) 2012 Kit Lang
Will be exhibited in a new show, also at the end of the month, again, deets to follow..
And that's in addition to the show at 10 Carden that I have been working towards for the last couple of months where I will be showing a lot of my old work, along with four new pieces for a group show with Group of Eight.
Also, also:
"Hiraeth" (c) 2013 Kit Lang
is currently hanging at International Quilt Festiveal, Long Beach.
Apparently, it's show time!
congrats! x4
ReplyDeleteSo glad your work is getting some exposure!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you Kit!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on all of your recent exposure...er...fame...and fortune. Well deserved!
ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled for you and I want to say proud so I had to look at that. I think I am proud whenever a strong woman speaks out because she is speaking for all of us. I sit and yell at the newscasters but you make your "yell" into a work of art and give all our outrage a voice. So I am proud of you as well!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting to have your work exhibited! Congratulations. Your art is tremendous.
