I am in a fallow period creatively speaking - and am experiencing a slight depression - I don't know whether the chicken or the egg came first, but the result is - no heart for art.
So, I'm taking a bit of a blogging break. Be well, be kind.
Kit
Take care Kit! I hope you get to play a bit on your break and you'll be back soon in better spirits!
ReplyDeleteNot to worry, it happens to us all.....ENJOY your break. No guilt!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your sewing mojo back soon...maybe a break is what you need? Just a small one because I will miss you teribly if you stay away too long.
ReplyDeleteTake care of you Kit. Sometimes a break is just what we need to help gain a new perspective and its nearing the end of a year and the decade so it does make us think more of our choices and paths in life. Hope the paths clear soon xx
ReplyDeleteIf it is any comfort, I go through this too... more often then I care to admit. Take some time to pamper yourself and I hope you feel on top of things soon! xo
ReplyDeleteBe Well
ReplyDeleteHope you come back more inspired!
ReplyDeleteI've been blog-stalking since I found you during the the online quilt festival. Warm wishes for some rejuvenating time. I LOVE your works.
ReplyDeletesending you loads of creative energy and positive happy thoughts your way.... Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteThe holidays, the weather, etc.etc. SOmetimes a break is the best thing you can give yourself. Be well. Look forward to seeing you here again soon.
ReplyDeleteGet out your fabrics and feel them even though you don't feel like creating. Give your hobby air. Let it breath and as you, do breath in the colors. Take a pencil and scribble your feelings ...but don't make art. Keep breathing into your art boxes and thread box and bring them back to life. See you when you come back.
ReplyDeleteTake extreme care of yourself!!
