I made a baby set (!) which is called "Daisies Sing the Blues".
The baby quilt is, well, baby-quilt sized *w*; done in white cotton and scraps of the blue-on-white daisies fabric that you see here.
Then, I made a change pad, that rolls up and fits in the attached carrier on the diaper bag. The change pad has an clear vinyl back so that you can just wipe off any mess:

The diaper bag was a real trick for me - I'd never made such a complictated "tote" before. It's essentially a messenger bag and has a zippered pocket on the inside at the back, holders for bottles and another large, unzipped pocket for diapers.

I couldn't get a good picture of the inside, but here it is in the construction phase:

ReplyDelete:) thanks Carol! I do love this little set - so much so that I'm thinking about making a queen sized quilt in the same combo - but from my previous experience making a queen size of one of these, I remember it was a bear to quilt. I may put it off for some time in fear of that! ;)

ReplyDeleteVery cute! That is an awesome set. I went to the fair yesterday and saw LOTS of strollers with quilts folded on them, which bolstered the spirits of this baby quilt maker :-) I think this set will be well loved!
ReplyDeletethanks Alexis! I don't like making baby quilts much (I don't know why - it's weird); but lately I've been feeling all...broody... (I think it's my upcoming 48th birthday - no more babies for me!); so I've just been churning out baby quilts in lieu of. lol
